In celebration of Come Home 2022, Newman Sound joins forces with admired local folk artist, Matthew Byrne, for an evening of traditional music. Raised with a strong family focus on collecting and sharing songs, Byrne inherited a unique repertoire as well as a fascination with unearthing and reimagining traditional songs. Snapshots in time, the words and melodies tell the stories of a people, their lives, and their perspectives.
