Mission:
Newman Sound Men's Choir will be one of the premier Canadian TTBB choruses with a distinctive identity that reflects its Newfoundland and Labrador roots, musical innovation, and excellence. The choir will be recognized for its connection to the community and its camaraderie and professionalism.
Vision:
Newman Sound's mission is to perform a broad repertoire of choral music from established and emerging composers and arrangers to entertain and educate audiences in Newfoundland and Labrador and abroad, and to demonstrate excellence with a celebratory accent on composers from this province and within the choir. The choir seeks to both provide a supportive community where choir members can learn and develop as musicians and individuals, and to encourage people to sing.
